I wanted to be something great, something high,
I wanted myself to be as endless as the sky.
As free as the cloud, as deep as the sea,
As bright as the sun, that's all I wanted to be.

I left behind my love, I left behind my friends,
I left behind my home, and everything that ends.
Leaving all of them behind, I set on a journey,
Alas this new journey, revealed the truth to me!

No one nears the sun, it's a lonely, burning ball,
The sky is not endless, it doesn't exist at all.
The clouds are not free, winds tell them what to do,
Deep, the sea might be, deep down it's lonely too.

What I left behind could actually make me great,
I realised and returned, for it is never late.
Each of us is the sky, all of us house a shrine,
We are just what we are, and we are totally fine.
