You’re old and tired,
And the world is bland,
Devoid of your colours,
Devoid of your dreams.

You look in the mirror
But she doesn’t look like you.

Since you truly smiled.

Now you realise,
The best parts of you are stuck in the past,
Buried in moments you wished would last,
But you’re sinking in this future,
And you’re sinking fast.
