The hard work we do,
Will it ever be enough,
For the people just behind the window,

When will we become equal,

But we are put under the covers,
Like kids,

Like animals,
People are disgusted,
They are embarrassed,
Just because we aren't the same,
We are judged on our labels as a group,
Never for who we really are,
We were given the right to be equal,
But it seems we are just different,
It seems we have become the monsters now,
So when will it stop,
When will everyone just be accepted,
It's not what they look like,
It's not about what their ancestors did,
But for who they are,
Who they choose to be,
How they choose to think,
How they feel,
They'll say ok,
They'll say fine,
But what that means is,
I don't care,
Not everyone will agree,
Not everyone will disagree,
But you have to stand your ground,
Stand there confident,
With pride and hope,
