Peaceful protests

I don’t actually think
Peaceful protests
Are necessary….
White supremacy
Has shown us
Time and time again
That they’re violent….
They don’t do kumbaya…
They hurt people who look like us
Why are we surprised?
Why do we beg them to accept us
If they keep bullyin us?
This is what I don’t get….
Our sickness, our self hatred
Moves us to the bone
Like we wanted white people

To love us still, why are we shocked
At racism when it’s been here for the
Longest….sometimes
Black people...
