There was time where I could see you with roses in the background.
There was a time when I felt the butter flies pinching the insides of my stomach when I was with you.
There was time when we used to compete for eachother's attention and see who would stare longer.
There was time when you would just grab any of my things and I couldn't scold you for it.
There was time when I was in love. No, A time when I fell in love.

That time, When I told you, You ran away from me.
Far, Far away, so far that even if the universe wanted to bring us back together it would have been impossible.

That day my illusion broke apart.
That day the fog broke apart.
That day I learnt that you didn't deserve me.
You didn't deserve me at all.
That day I learnt that keeping my heart with me is harder than throwing it away.
Because everytime I throw it away I find it broken into smaller and smaller pieces. I try to mend it but now it was just minuscule particles of dust that lay on the Earth under your feet.

The dust that you dusted away from yourself.
