A walk on a beach,
Both, on your bare feet,
So close and within reach,
A conversation brief but sweet,
this is wonder and the words are unnecessary
the waves come and go below the sky
with you here all is right
the sad covers our feets
and the sun covers our loneliness
the wind remembers us we're alive
and the warm water just says shh
this moment is perfect
and the time has stopped
only you and me seeing the sunrise
