Maybe one day I'll find my way
Or maybe I'll go astray.
Maybe one day life'll be less gray
Or maybe I'll have bills to pay.

But maybe that one day never comes
And I'll end up in a pile of crumbs
Before I get to go to my mums
And once again try out the drums.

Who knows what will happen next?
Maybe one day I'll go back to my ex
By sending them more than one text
Or maybe I won't follow in my steps.

I hope that one day comes soon
Because just like the sand from a dune
Or maybe like a whispered tune
The wind will take my soul to the moon.
