HER SOLACE
She walked across the graveyard
With the raven upon her shoulder
Her footprints leaving a trail In the frost covered ground
In her long black dress
Her blood red painted nails
Trailing over the weather beaten gravestones
As the dead leaves
Crunched beneath her feet
Her elegant smile
One that could stop a heart from beating
Within just one glimpse
And a daring look in her eyes
As the cold mist fell upon her
Delicately cascading on her hair
As if they were eloquently placed diamonds
That shine in the dark
The mist seeping out of the darkness
Giving her pale skin a light blue hue
From the glimpsing of the moonlight
From behind the clouds in which it hid
The coldness of the air
Sending a chill through her body
As the mist reached out
Like tendril fingers
Desperate to touch her cold soul
And yet within the darkness
She found a solace
Like she had never found before
As she walked
Dropping the blood rose petals
To the foor
She felt no fear
For she knew as long as she walked
In the cold baroness of the night
Within that mist
That seduced her body
Was the soul of her dead lover
With the raven upon her shoulder
Her footprints leaving a trail In the frost covered ground
In her long black dress
Her blood red painted nails
Trailing over the weather beaten gravestones
As the dead leaves
Crunched beneath her feet
Her elegant smile
One that could stop a heart from beating
Within just one glimpse
And a daring look in her eyes
As the cold mist fell upon her
Delicately cascading on her hair
