Once, I had my dreams almost
Came alive
Was going to move to Las Vegas..
Buy a condo with money from hard work
Doing with out extras, I succed to save
With honor, all mine
Trusted someone who made promises
I believed...
Now I am paying for it daily
Unfortunately

Use to have my dreams
In the palm of my hands
Excited of the open door
Plenty I had planned
New furniture, China out
Dogs of my own
Trusted the wrong person
Out of savings...
Not even close to my goals zone
Back even farther, then the start
Sad, I am the beginners zone
Wish, I never trusted this person
Money lost...more than I own
Friends, family
Fighting this feeling of being
Alone
God, I know your there
Is there a lesson from this horrid
Torment daily
How come, this happened
Breaks my heart, I need to roam
Please, may I rewind
This circus nightmare
Go back, to a time in which
Was laughter thrown
Amen
