May your grave stay illuminated
O my dear father how I miss you
After all these years, I still mourn
The unbearable pain you went through
As the decree of your deadline dawned

Final were the moments of day and night
That I stood by your dying self in gloom
And in silent prayer for your life to fight
The ordainment that withered yo bloom

I still remember your hand go frail
As your soul was drawn away
From yo body, eliciting my wail
Of grief , recurrent, till this day

And so began the days of emptiness
That made me wish I had cherished
The borrowed time of thankfulness
I took for granted till you perished

May the most high forgive your sins
And widen your final abode therein
Till the day we meet again in being
May your grave stay illuminated in beams
