The days were unending as were the nights,
She waited and waited and waited,
But there seemed no hope in sight…
her vision started sinking
evrything seemed dull, even when there was a lot of light
she waited the entire day
she could not sleep the entire night
suddenly she saw a figure with a tail, with a identical height
it was her favourite little puppy
almost made of cotton, so soft so fluffy
she got delighted
she got happy
her heart started to get flappy
she out of the window, she jumped
the adrenaline rush in her mind, kept her totally pumped
the calls of her family, she just dumped
she ran toward the pup
with a milk packet, to fill up the puppy's cup
seeing her the puppy also, started to smile
this love of theirs, is eternal, and not only for a while
