I know a friend,
Who was smart but naive,
Her dedication to study hard,
Moved me, and inspired me,

Seeing her walk on stage,
With a smile on her face,
As she took her medals that she earned,
Through her hard work,
Made me think,
What it's like to be on that stage,
I thought, someday, I'll be able to be up on that stage,

Seeing her shine above the sky,
Inspired me to try and study,
