Do you ever miss us they way we miss you? When you awaken from your sleep every morning do you ever wonder how we are doing or if we even made it out of bed. So many unanswered questions, yet we're supposed to be your blessings

From where I stand it seems easy to live without us

I've watched you hurt us, never really giving a fuck about us; and when we expressed the hurt, struggling to draw out the pain you stood tall saying it wasn't your fault because we were all adults just deal with the pain even though it's driving us mentally insane

How is it so easy for you to live without us your own flesh and blood

We may have grown up without you in our lives but there isn't a day that passes by that we don't wish we could just die instead of always wondering why we weren't good enough to love. We searched for ways to erase you the same way you did us, but it was all a bust; a temporary fix

Seeing you live without us so carefree made me angry and my love turned to hate

I could never be like you even when I tried, yet I still recall all those tirelessly nights crying alone in silence, cutting every inch of my flesh til it took away the pain. I was crying for attention your simple love and affection all for reasons I'll never mention.

You built your life around us just to move on and live without us
