Moss
One day , when I woke up for real ,
there were no more roads
Surrounded by cliffs on all sides
I could not even find the road i came running from ,
And I stood there bent over my knees ,
gasping for breath,
In the minutes that felt million lifetimes
Mosses I never dared to want , creeped all over me
Which was more scarier ?
To leap down the infinite darkness
Or just sit there contemplating
It just felt so tempting to give it a try
Dreamers would call it invigorating,
While the men with big shoes call it stupid
And I 've fallen far too many times , to know my wings wouldn't carry me
But alas , I wasn't afraid of the fall
Only that I couldn't bear to leave the moss that kept me company
The bad times , the not so bad times, Through it all
