I guess we aren't apart, I see it now,
A sudden realization, in me there’s you, somehow.
In you, there’s me; we are so much alike,
Our interests align, our thoughts strike
The same chords, our values resonate,
Little things bring joy to both, it’s our fate.

You feel deeply, yet ignore yourself too,
Just like I do, and our love for poetry grew....
