Fear seems to abound my mind,
As I walk past this dark lane.
So dark, I feel as if I'm blind,
Oh! it's driving me insane.

As I continue to walk,
I can see some dark figures.
They want to have a talk,
but, the rising fear triggers.

In a haste, I try to run,
For I hear their footsteps grow.
I try to escape each one,
and the complexities they throw.

But there in my way,
comes a little boulder.
Causing me to trip and pray,
as the figures draw closer.

I sat there, as still as a rock,
when a familiar voice approached.
the voice of my heart tried to unlock,
a hidden glow that was unwatched.

In the light of that glow,
Was I able to see them,
they were someone I know!
oh! my insecurities that condemn!!

Day and night, I always run,
from those insecurities.
but today, I wanna listen,
to their adversities.

Upon hearing, I was shaken,
and felt a bit disgraced.
Realised they were broken,
and needed to be embraced.
