Love Lacking Love
What to write ’bout love?
I heard people say, “of all, ’tis above.”
But I see there are conditions,
Which ruining many relations.
Lack of acceptance makin’ people afraid,
They ain’t livin’ free, true emotions remain unsaid.
It doesn’t matter whether ’tis your girlfriend or boyfriend,
Or your very own at your home, e’en your parents or grandparents.
They all say or claim, “our love is unconditional.”
But the reality is, ’tis impractical, irrational.
They love you only till you’re good in their eyes,
And when you ain’t good in their eyes anymore, their love say goodbye.
