I cried, only for the rain to wash away my tears
Washed away as though the torment had never filled my being and my mind had not witnessed the horrors I still dreamed about, those tears may as well have never welled from my eyes,
I screamed only for the wind to whip away the sound
Torn from my throat, the guttural raw pain erased, gone
Left me a twisted contorted silent face in the far distance
I cannot speak
I cannot tell
I cannot remember very well
The only thing I know is true
