VIGILANCE
Like a shadow,

She slowly ascends,
As the evening light gently creeps in,
In the afternoon wide and clear,
She jumps in from one angle to another,

In the evening slow and steady,
She finds a place to take cover,
In the night when the mosquitos bite,
She is nowhere in sight,

Her paces slow and fast,
Meek as a prey,
But deep within she hid something grey,
A secret known to none,
Eating her from deep down,
From afar she watches the crowd,
Planning what she calls the journey to the lord,

She is visible yet invisible,
She has been made a thing of ridicule,
She expresses her pain in a smile,

She channels all her stress,
In an innocent book,
It knows nothing,
Yet carries a lot,

But in the pin drop hour of the day
She promises to make them pay,
