We are not alone™
The world now seems
Too paltry a cage
For there are other worlds
To ensnare in a single page.
Her pen rose to capture the brilliance
But the ink failed to imprint
Her brain froze in the face of technicalities
As her mind started to sprint.
Oh, what wonders does that blue moon hide
From that shallow wandering eye,
The sun hides no shame
In admiring this enchanting lie.
Perhaps these other worlds
Pay homage to a less lonely one,
Where trees sway to the tune of a pied piper
Who dances amidst the shadows under the settling sun.
