INTROSPECTION OF FALLEN SOULS
Reclused from the worldly whim,
Caged in a room calm and dim,
We ponder upon the life we lived,
Wonder about what we achieved.
We raced, fought, and rolled the dice,
To feed our greed we adored vice,
Addled with pride, envy and lust,
We decieved and buried trust.
What we once reckoned a bliss,
Turned out to be a dire abyss.
Drained n foiled by abysmal needs,
Tainted by our dissolute deeds,
With souls scarred beyond amend,
At last we did apprehend.
What made the world good to worse?
What turned us from a gift to curse?
May be still there is ray of hope,
We can still climb back the slope,
May be oneday we can cure the sore,
Just need to rock our souls from the core!!
