Sitting By Myself
A large group of creative people, each of whom seemed happy,
I watched them sitting by myself and only,
They were speaking,
Without talking.
Expressing their thoughts through written words,
Mumbling like the early-morning and late-night birds,
The beautiful words they were using amazed me,
My reading of them creates a wave-like motion of the sea.
Mixes rhymes or rhythms,
And each, with thoughtful wisdom,
I gave my best shot one day,
With my thoughts a million miles away.
