Into the Dream

I wake up from a dream
I lay awake on the shore
Looking at the sun
Feeling content and calm
The waves tickle my feet -
I am back in the real world
To the dream I would return;
A place where anything is possible
To stop the cries, the hatred,
The war and the chaos
To make it like my real world
Where I want to live a thousand years
I again close my eyes
The screams are getting louder and closer
Soon I will make it all vanish
I glide between the two realms
Am I still dreaming or
Am I still here?
