Words left unspoken ,
A person ,gone and broken .
A warm soul ,a smile so warm and wide,
“I wish I could tell you how I feel inside”.

“One breath ,you’ll be okay”
Is what I’d say.
Maybe It’ll cure this terrible day.

That horrible feeling, breaking down and shaking,
Hiding behind the smile that you’ve come to know.
Laughter covers the broken pieces, scraping,
Yet, they’ll never reveal what I won’t show.

A thousand laughs to veil the tears I’ve cried,
Each tear for every pain that’s deeply felt.
A smile attempts to heal what won’t subside,
But words unspoken, and I fade as i slowly melt.
