In the end it was just me and my thoughts,
A painful trap, long after you were gone
Holding me down till you will come
I was alone and hurt like someone with a cut

What so special about you that I miss?
Is it the hugs or the kiss?
I know none of those matters now cos,
You've left me to carry my cross
I was heartbroken, devastated like someone with a curse

I know you'll come back
Cos we promised each other things we won't lack
I know you're gone for a while and for good
But I still see your picture in my heart, even in the moon
If you think I'm just talking, you can take a look

I waited for years
You didn't come
No one to wipe my tears,
Nor boil the corn
I cry when I see my peers

Finally! you came
I was so happy
You were driving on your lane
And told me not to worry
Seeing you always make me sane
Can't wait for us to marry
So you won't go another day
