Daydreamer: Behind the Mask I Wear
This poem is about the pressure and hard things teenagers face daily. It's about trying to find yourself and who you are during everything that's going on around you.
Dreaming day and night, who is it I am looking for?
Beyond the fuzzy mist, behind the mild cliff.
Who are you?
An angel or a devil, I'd say I rather don't care but dream it not be I do.
Reflections in the mirror,
Hurting someone dear.
What is it you want?
Waving hands and flashing lights,
No more of this can I take.
Darkness exuding flowered valleys and light fading out,
I need not ask any questions.
I know who you are.
A nightmare this has become.
