Time Running
I cant keep up
everything happening
one step before me
always ahead of me
even if I run
Im always behind
a hop, a skip, a jump
nowhere
rewind
if only I could
fast forward
the all seeing
all knowing
how would it be
instead I'm running
chasing
for tomorrow is coming
yesterday is gone
and now is here
it's okay
so long as my heart
is filled in this moment
I will have embraced life
for time is always running
and I might not ever catch up
