Burns
I walk outside of my body
in a world of fire and chains
I return to my body
to only find more stains
I open every door
just to find another door
And every breath I take
hurts me down to the core
The girl I used to be
has been dead and gone
So why must my body
still drag along these bones
I fill my veins
with a little more heat
It seems I'm tied
and buckled in this hot seat
My body burns cold
until I find the Ice
It takes that chill
to make my tempature rise
I fight my sleep to
avoid the nightmares found
My soul to keep
my soul is now bound
Lord please forgive my sins
as I continue to live wrong
This emptiness of broken
was not my life's song
Take me away
to the place my soul healed
Where the heart stops and there is no emotions to feel
