When I met you, I was naive
Can't describe how I felt, so alive..
Falling in love was mesmerising
Volcanic tears arising, heart beat rising..

In yours ocean of love
I drowned further making myself wet…
Temtetation heightened, the deeper I get.. Each wave washed away my pain
Found my paradise, nothing remains important to gain.

Those eyes, looks so amazing
All day long, I continued gazing.
Without a blink, I started to shrink
Further inside this ocean of love
They refers us as a pair of dove.

As I drowned deeper, started shrinking forever.
I wished, this fascination should leave me never.

Unfortunately, I shrank exponentially in the ocean of love.
My identity vanished, my soul regrets.
Forgetting myself, unbearable it gets.

Realising the threat to my existence,I screamed,
Suddenly, awaking from that depressing dream.

Finding purpose of my life,
the reason for me being still alive. Introspecting, redefining my thoughts processes,
I started growing, making more progress.

Now, I found another ocean of love.
More promising, amazing,meaningful, fascinating.
This time I didn't shrink, instead I grew.
Wider and wiser than I ever knew.
This new found ocean of love
is self-love.
