Dark age
In the dark age's shroud we find,
A world once bright, now left behind.
Knowledge lost, in shadows cast,
Humanity's future, uncertain and vast.

Gone the light of wisdom's flame,
In ignorance, we bear the blame.
Superstition's chains, they bind,
As reason fades, we're left behind.

But even in this darkest hour,
Seeds of hope, the human power.
To rise above, to seek the light,
And bring an end to endless night.

With courage strong, we'll find our way,
Into a brighter, newer day.
For even in the darkest age,
Hope can still turn the page.
