Have you seen or met with fear?
Ever heard about fear?
- One of the most famous four letter words,
-A word very small but portent and cruel,
-Very short, simple and dreaded,
Yet a slaver of the mind.


A lonely evil that cannot be touched,
Like a virus it inhabits without invitation,
Stings like a scorpion, clings like clothes,
Grips unending and only leaves when deed is done,
Losses its power when there's an interruption.


The interruption you all wish you know,
Cos of false evidence appearing real (fear),
A demon of a word that possesses you,
Robs you off your will,courage and esteem,
And leaves you no better than a dummy.


If only you'd see when it's coming,
And brace up to block it at the doorway,
Lift up your head and kick off the red flags,
That come in the guise of weakness, low esteem and cohorts,
Embrace the flaws and take a pill of courage,
Then you'd see and believe that you can,
As fear is of the mind, so are faith and victory,
There's nothing you can't do,
Cos fear is just a mirage,
Obstructing you from the big and bright picture.
