Silent screams suppressed under the numbness of the tongue,
You and I sit far apart,
two hearts unwilling to return.
Is it a battle of egos or am I standing my ground?
Adamant, I stare at the transparent walls,
If I lose to you now, will I be really be found?
Nursing my heart on my own,
With trembling fingers and unnerving uncertainty,
I am still counting the days
Where are you when I need you the most?
They didn't describe how to work this out in fairytales, neither it was suggested.
Wish I could conjure up some spells or play with time.
If only our happily-ever-after moment could just get arrested.
