You are like a cactus
You barely ever bloom

You bring them their doom

But I've seen cactuses
I've watched them bloom
Then turn into roses
And just leave the room

Yet with every full rose
Also came a new thorn
And before I even knew it
I've come to learn

Cactuses not only bloom
But they can also be born
