Bebo The Mermaid
In the depths of the ocean, where the seaweed sways, Lived Mermaid Bebo, in her watery maze.
With scales of turquoise, and hair of sea foam,
Her heart beat in rhythm with the ocean's deep roam.

One day she surfaced, the sun kissed her face, And she saw a young man, with a gaze full of grace.

He stood on the shore, with eyes bright and blue, A fisherman’s son, his heart brave and true.Bebo watched from afar, her heart started to sing, For she felt something new, a mysterious spring.

He was not of her world, yet a bond had begun, A love that shone brighter than the shimmering sun.

She swam to the shallows, her tail gleaming bright, And sang him a song, in the soft moonlit night.

Her voice, like a whisper, carried over the tide, And the young man approached, with eyes open wide."Who are you, fair maiden, with a voice so divine?" "I am Bebo," she answered, "from the depths where I shine." He reached out to touch her, with a hand rough but kind, And their worlds intertwined, both their hearts now entwined with their first hug 🤗 🫂

They met every evening, where the sea kissed the shore, Sharing dreams, sharing secrets, and so much more. But the ocean was jealous, and the waves grew more wild, For a mermaid and human, this love was beguiled.

Yet Bebo was fearless, her love was her guide, She fought against currents, the storm, and the tide. With courage, they promised, no matter the cost, Their love would endure, no matter what's lost.

One night, in the tempest, the waves did conspire, To keep them apart, with their raging desire. But love's power is stronger than the mightiest sea,

And in the heart of the storm, they found their decree.Bebo and her love, with a kiss and a tear, Became part of a legend, a tale we hold dear. For love, pure and true, can bridge every divide,
In the depths of the ocean, or by the shore's side.
