AND THEN THERE WERE YOU
And then there were none,
To be with me-
Broken hearted I strolled,
Through the paths of dismay-
Sorrow had ruled over me;
My heart got crushed every rise of day.

And then there was me,
All alone, depressed-
Failure followed me everywhere I went-
I was lost in myself, lost in my course;
Dead were the hopes to live,
I was alone, infront of the locked doors.

And then there was a view,
A beautiful view of someone's approach
I tried to see, couldn't.
It was clothed with light.
It took my hand, embraced me tight;
And I closed my eyes;
I could feel the beam, so bright.

And then there was a scene,
A scene I had been longing to see for long;
I smiled, it felt great-
I was through the doors at last.
My heart gleamed in joy the way I had never seen it do,
I turned back to see what the light was
And then, there were you.
