What is a queen to a king?
What is women to man?
Is it to whom he yields his heart,
Is it she who can aid topple or raise his kingdom.
If she were to whisper
"my king, I lament you court, should they perish, so be it," shall he will it so.
Is it she that sits by his side when trouble looms,
dancing with you in the moonlight,
when the stars shine is dim,
or she that schemes in fear of demise,
and screams nothing is ever enough.
Is it she that keeps unwavering fealty,
speaking only truth,
or she that devices and plots in deceit.
What kinship then is there between king and
queen, husband and wife, master and thrall or men and women,
how far can a pair of doves with each a single wing to either of their sides fly if not together.
What is then a queen to her king?
